Brimskill Building

The Brimskill Building is reported to be the oldest structure in the county. Edward Brimskill began construction on the rear portion in 1849, finishing his building by 1851 with the addition of iron shutters imported from Scotland. The building was used as a general store during its early years, and also provided space for the town’s Wells Fargo agent.
